BARC obtains and places Bernese Mountain Dogs and puppies. Many of BARC's dogs have been purchased at dog auctions with the purpose of removing them lives of exploitation in puppy mills. Many of these dogs have had a very rough start to their lives. Many are imports or have been produced domestically by breeders who may not have been very careful about screening their breeding stock for genetic defects known to exist in Bernese Mountain Dogs. Please contact BARC for information on their adoption policy and availability of dogs.
